F L Toppers is our local community Tap/Ballet/Modern Dance Club. Originally started by local resident Florrie Lancaster over 50 years ago and bequeathed to long standing member Loraine Coutts some 25 years ago, Loraine now runs the Club with her “partner in crime” Claire Hoskin a member of 43 years.

The Club holds it’s lessons in the Village Hall and is for everyone from age 3 with no age limit. There are classes for children, adults and the Club also has an all male class whose members are between the ages of 18 and 50.

The Club is a "fun club, with a serious side". The fun side being the annual dance show that is held at the Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch and the serious side being Dance Exams that are adjudicated by the British Ballet Organisation.

Both Loraine and Claire are Registered Dance Teachers with the British Ballet Organisation.
