Once an old coach house and stop over on route to Southend, The Halfway House is now a destination in its own right. Owned by the O’Donoghue family for over 30 years, “The Halfway” as it’s affectionately known is a byword for friendly service offering affordable excellence.

Our Grand Marquee, set in its own gardens, caters for our larger elaborate weddings and events, whilst our Herongate Suite, fully self-contained, situated in the main building is perfect for events on a smaller scale.’
